Yesterday after having a incredibly bad day at work. I made the foolish mistake of coming home to watch Seven Pounds (Will Smith).

Good God! While a very interesting and well done film in my opinion, you must only watch this film on GOOD DAYS.

I swear I almost wanted to ~~jump in the~~ (spoiler) take my self out after watching this film....damn.

Well done by all involved, but this movie is NOT good for the soul...lol.

I lost a friend this holiday. He was an inspiration and a true talent and the world is poorer because of his loss. My condolences go out to his family and friends and I will always remember the smile on his face.

In many ways he is one of my inspirations for what I do.

We will miss you Andre.

Wow...

You know, sometimes I'm not surprised that this world is the way it is.

I had a co-worker this morning relay a story to me that during his BIBLE STUDY, a guy he knows, who happens to be a business owner, stated that because it looks as though Obama will win, he had preemptively decided that he is going to lay people off. Now, because he'll have to make the tough decision of which people to let go, he'll make his decision by going out into the parking lot and finding the 1st 8 employees with Obama bumper stickers and those will be the 8 that get their walking papers. Not only is this illegal retaliatory discrimination, it's supposedly coming from a Christian who is proactively planning to take revenge on employees who don't agree with his politics. What an amazing religion of love and forgiveness.

....AND THEN...

The same co-worker goes on to suggest that Obama is a terrorist sympathizer and when challenged with the concept that Palin and her husband were supporters of a secessionist movement in Alaska, his reponse to Palin's support video was that governors do that kind of thing all the time and our state governor has sent recorded video statements to Democratic groups. So, the lesson for today, class is that...

Democrat = secessionist

I'm sorry folks, but apparently Black America, Dr. King, Malcom X, Nat Turner, The Black Panthers, Jesse, Al, Cosby, Portier, James Earl Jones, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Jesse Owens, W.E.B. Du Bois, Dr. Cornell West, Arthur Ashe, Tiger Woods, Jackie Robinson & Obama...just took one in the loss column. On the eve of potentially one of the greatest moments in Black history, we are currently licking our wounds from adding this latest L.

I can't even begin to go into words, you have to see this for yourselves.
